The Essence of Perspective

(as being essential to Fluffy-ism)

I've been balking at this for a while, and I feel compelled to finish this aspect of the site. I am a true believer in Necessity being the Mother of Innovation. I don't really have a necessity to put this up, However, by putting it up, I do have a necessity to have it right, so that means the more stuff that needs to be "updated" the sooner it will be. Where as, just having it on my computer, I can tweak and twiddle with it for ages on end. Chuckle.

The Essence of "Fluffy-ism, The Way of the Leaf" is understanding the meaning of the word Perspective. We all have one. They are like opinions, and excuses; nobody, and I mean no human being in history has ever been truly Objective. Humanity is a species of Subjectivity. Period. I am very strict in this definition, because I revel in our subjectivity. Subjectivity is a beautiful, and terrifying thing. Subjectivity is the seed from which we not only spawned Gandhi, Jesus, and The Buddha, but from which Jack the Ripper, and Jeffrey Dahmer also came. We all see what we want to see, and we all interpret events, and words and emotions differently.

"All of the true things I am about to tell you are shameless lies."
Cat's Cradle, Kurt Vonnegut, Jr.

This is a beautiful way to emphasize the Truth that resides in all of us. We all have our Truth's, which we can neither deny, nor can we prove to anyone else. They are hunches, deductions, and interpretations from behind the wall of our interal filters. From Pope to Peasant no-one is absolute. Even that which I have presented here, is not absolute, it is my twisted interpretation of all that I have been exposed to throughout my life.
When taken as such, every religion ever created is reduced to another Perspective upon the questions to which the answers we have not yet found. Theology, and Philosophy is the the past time of dwelling upon our own answers to those questions. Fluffy-ism in and of itself is a Path designed to seek out one's being in order to find those answers for yourself. Whether those answers come through Christianity, Buddhism, Tao-ism, Shamanism, Wiccan, Judaism, Islam, Hinduism, or through your own internal delving, does not matter. We are all human. We all have fear, and love, and pain, and pleasure. We all live on the same planet, and breathe the same air. Life is a gift to us all, and our many, varied, and unusual Perspectives give that Life flavor.

"Of course! We all create God in our own image."
Star Trek I: The Movie, Gene Roddenbury.
