Random Thoughts
It came to me this morning, that I should probably start jotting down a bunch of little things that irk me about society. Mostly because
I'm always studying it for inspiriation thought, but also because eh, we all like to bitch.

Have you ever thought that the whole reason there is war in the middle east, is God's fault?
Seriously, Sarah, married to Abraham (Father of Judaism) was barren. She offered her handmaiden Rebecca in her place, to provide an heir. But then
God fucked the whole thing up, by rewarding Sarah's selfless acts with the ability to bear a child, and the next year, Issac came out.
Rebecca still pregnant, was sent away, and gave birth to Ishmael, the link in the Islamic tradition back to Abram (who was Abraham before
God in the Judaistic tradition changed his name). Thus, the Islam versus Jewish traditions are all God's fault.

Why is it, every hero in the movies, has to be a violent hero?
I watch all sorts of stupid stuff, yet when it comes to the everyday TV show, or movie, violence seems to be the definitive characteristic
of the hero. Why couldn't the hero just be given this great ability that violence doesn't work against him. So that no matter what, as long
as our hero never resorts to violence, he can't be hurt by another. So guns and punches, and really fancy martial arts just impact on some
invisible barrier. It's like, take all the vampires, or witches, or demonic crapola, and make the hero the guy whom evil just can't touch.
So that the very presence of this guy (or girl if you want) just makes them incapable of doing evil. And the power of his non-violent ways
banishes the demon, instead of having to punch and kick all the time.

Am I the only one who sees Star Wars as being the greatest philosophical vision of the 20th Century?
I've tried to understand why when so many people have enjoyed and loved the Star Wars reality as a movie
experience, the main reason I look at it, is because of the cycle and progress of the philosophies created and spun off from
the basic story. Sure it is a story, but look at the spirituality behind it all. We got a prophecy to balance the force,
when the force is rather unbalanced to the good side, and people are actually shocked that Anakin became a Sith? Uh, can we
say duh. In order to balance, he had to become Sith, but with job done, fate doesn't want to leave the hero damned, so
it provides him with children to redeem him after balance has been achieved. Now that's just cool.

Can a perjurer attest to his own purjury?
This is one I think that no one can answer. If a person lied, and then admits his falsehood, which is to be believed. The falsehood
or the admission? Elephino.

Why is it that men have mastered the asshole, and women have mastered the run-around?
As a matter of course, I have recognized that men on the whole — forgiving my use of generalizations for the moment —
are prickish, annoying, assholes. Yes, we cannot help this, for it is ingrained from birth for us to be unsentimental, uncaring,
and completely egotistical. However, women, you are not flawless. The phrase, "No means No" would be completely true
if women would actually use it. Seriously, how many times has a guy asked a girl out, and she wouldn't answer the phone,
or had a roommate screen the call, or said something like "Oh, I am really busy this week, maybe some other time." All
these attempts, are translations of the word no but they aren't the word itself. Men, though assholish in nature, can cease
to be the asshole when the realize that it is inappropriate. It isn't often, I'll admit, but it's still there. I think the least
we (as men) could expect in return is for women to at least say, "No." and we'd leave. But, giving flirtations one moment,
and run-arounds the next, we tend to get confused, and confusion leads to frustration, and the asshole emerges. Will this sick cycle
ever end?
